Dave Cardinal is the head of our new location in Michigan.
Dave brings a wealth of experience to XC2 Software in the area of managing cross connection control programs. Dave has been in the water industry for 15 years where he worked for a company in Michigan that managed cross connection control programs for over 120 communities in Michigan, Wisconsin, Florida and Illinois. He was responsible for establishing all business practices, field operation procedures and administrative functions related to cross-connection control program management. During his time at his previous position he reviewed over 200 water purveyor ordinances and developed written cross connection control programs that would meet State requirements and receive written approval from local and State Agencies. Dave assisted with developing State certified training programs in Michigan and Wisconsin and has trained over 200 Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, Michigan Department of Health, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and over 1500 municipal employees, plumbers and miscellaneous contractor employees. Dave has also had the great fortune of being a guest speaker at many conferences and training seminars in the cross-connection control field. A true Michigander Dave was born and raised in Mid-Michigan and lived there for the majority of his life with the exception the time he served in the US Air Force stationed at K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base in the Upper Peninsula (UP) of Michigan. When asked how he like the weather there, his response was: “Although I wasn’t lucky enough to be stationed somewhere warm, I was lucky enough to meet my wonderful wife in the UP and we have been blessed with two beautiful daughters.” “My spare time is spent primarily involving any kind of sporting event. I am truly a 'hockey nut', I’ve played hockey since I was 5 years old and you could say it’s a passion. I love the outdoors and hunting, my wife says, she is a widow from October through December." |
