XC2 TIP

 The Resources Tab

 This is the central tool to populate all of the lists in XC2.

 Misc. Choice Lists button on the Resources Page

 The Misc. Choice List button hosts most of the pull down menu items.

 Many items can be populated.

 Such as:

  • Add new BFP assembly manufacturers, makes, models and sizes
  • Add new test kits
  • Add boiler plate text
  • Add new assemblies
  • Add zip codes
  • Modify schedule codes, and much more!

XC2 TRICK

 Saved Searches

 The ability exists in XC2 to save searches for later use.

 PLEASE NOTE: This is a new feature that was available after build 648.

 Click on the File menu and choose Saved Searches.    

 This is the Saved Searches screen. Click the Add Saved Search button.    

 Name your search and give it a description.    

 Choose which results table the information will be pulled from.    

 For Example:

  • For information regarding Surveys- use Facility History
  • For information regarding Test Dates- Use BFP Assembly
  • If you are not sure what Table you need please call XC2 Tech Support.

 Click Add Search Item , and choose the criteria from the list.To add more than one criteria, click Add Search Item again.    

 Click Save.    

 You can now go back to that search in the future.
